Fairtrade Fortnight 2024

Monday 9th September – Sunday 22nd September 2024

This year’s Fairtrade Fortnight runs from September 9th to the 22nd.

This year’s theme is Be the Change, by picking up Fairtrade products and speaking up for fairer trade.

2024 is Fairtrade’s 30th birthday, so we want to use the occasion to highlight how 30 years of working together has made the FAIRTRADE Mark a leader of life-changing impact for farmers and workers across the world.

We know you’ll want to join us in celebrating the significant impact that the FAIRTRADE Mark has had in the world, and thank you for all your incredible support and contributions.

Check out Fairtrade Fortnight 2024 digital campaign pack for tools to support you in getting involved.

What can I do?

Join us in asking your MP to step up and stand with Fairtrade farmers, and supporters like you, who are leading the way in building a fairer future.

Ask your MP to be the change by pledging their support for fairer trade

  • Run a Be the Change event during Fairtrade Fortnight and invite your MP: Every year hundreds of Fairtrade events bring whole communities together to speak up for fairer trade, and MPs will be keen to join events like this shortly after the election. Why not tempt them in by running a Be the Change brunch or breakfast, made up of Fairtrade treats?
  • Tell us about your plans or ideas: We look forward to hearing about your plans for Fairtrade Fortnight and promoting your great work as much as we can.
  • Write to your MP to ask them to take the Be the Change pledge: When Fairtrade Fortnight begins, we will launch a quick and easy tool you can use to ask your MP to stand with Fairtrade farmers.
