We are greatly saddened by the death of our friend and colleague, Claire O’Shea. Claire worked closely with us at Fair Trade Wales, in her role as Head of Hub Cymru Africa, and was a passionate advocate for global solidarity and social justice. The way in which she campaigned for better cancer services was a shining example of how someone can make an impact in the worst of circumstances.

 She was an inspiration and a valiant spirit taken from us far too early. We will miss her very much. 

We will continue the work Claire cared about so deeply, by advocating for justice and demanding a more equal world.
