On March 2nd, 2025, runners in Barry laced up their trainers for their annual Daffodil Dash – a 2K fun run organized by Barry Town Council. This exciting community event brought together families, runners and supporters to celebrate St Davids Day.

A Run with a Fair Trade Twist

As runners crossed the finish line, they were greeted with a Fairtrade banana and medals for their hard work. Barry has shown dedication to being an ethical and sustainable town, and has recently celebrated 10 years of being a Fair Trade community!
