Fair Trade Wales Freelance Bookkeeper Role

We are seeking a freelance bookkeeper to work with us at Fair Trade Wales, to replace our current bookkeeper who is retiring. We are a small team working to support, grow and promote the Fair Trade movement in Wales. Our vision is to see an equal world, using our values of support, collaboration and empowerment. Fair Trade Wales is established as a company, limited by guarantee with not for profit status. We work as part of the Hub Cymru Africa (HCA) partnership and are based in Cardiff. Hub Cymru Africa is currently funded by the Welsh Government’s Wales and Africa programme. 

The role will involve providing us with a bookkeeping service to:

Pay wages monthly

Pay invoices

Record financial transactions

Create and issue invoices 

Pay and record expenses

Carry out a monthly bank reconciliation

Complete end of year accounts and liaise with our accountant

Consult with the Head of Fair Trade Wales quarterly and as necessary
