It’s been an exciting year for Tired Mums Coffee, the Fairtrade-certified brand that’s brewed with purpose and built around real lives – and real exhaustion!

Since we last caught up with them back in February 2024, big things have been brewing. The brand, known for its delicious blends and powerful mission to support parents, has now launched into retail. You can find their ethically sourced coffees in shops across Wales and beyond, including Rhug Estate Farm Shop in Corwen, Rackery Farm Shop in Wrexham, and The Welsh Luxury Hamper Company in Chepstow. They’re also stocked through the Artisan Food Club for wholesale orders.

This expansion marks an important step for the business, which was originally founded by Gemma and Laura, two mums who met while working in the NHS. Their goal was simple: to use coffee as a force for good by offering support to other tired parents.

Earlier this month, Tired Mums announced on their socials that Gemma will be stepping back from the business for personal reasons. The company will now be led by co-founder Laura, who continues to uphold their mission and passion with care and determination.

Alongside their growing presence in shops, customers can also meet the team and buy directly at events this year, including the Ludlow Food Festival and the BBC Good Food Winter Show. These shows provide the perfect opportunity to sample the blends and chat with Laura about how each bag of coffee is making a difference.

Tired Mums Coffee is proudly Fairtrade-certified, with a percentage of all coffee sales donated to charities supporting parents’ wellbeing. Their blends – like Party All Night and Nobody’s Listening to Me – are designed to suit every part of the day (and every type of tired!).
