This year to mark International Coffee Day and Great Big Green Week we are running a Welsh-language Fairtrade coffee morning in the capital city for Welsh speakers and learners. Come along to learn more about Fairtrade and climate justice and of course for free Fairtrade coffee!

1 October marks International Coffee Day, and we’ll be highlighting the links between Fairtrade and climate justice. Do you know how Fairtrade is working for climate justice in global supply chains? International Coffee Day 2022 also lands during Great Big Green Week this year, which is a nationwide celebration of action on climate change, taking place across the UK from the 24 September to 2 October.

To mark both occasions, we are running an in-person Welsh-language Fairtrade coffee morning in the Tabernacl in Cardiff. The theme of the coffee morning is climate change, in-line with our commitment to highlight the ways climate change is affecting the communities Fairtrade works with. Do you know how Fairtrade is working to further climate justice? Come along and find out!

This coffee morning will include a short presentation on Fairtrade and climate change, a quick climate-related Welsh lesson for learners and a chance to chat and sample different Fairtrade coffees.

This event is suited for fluent speakers and learners with Intermediate/Canolradd proficiency and above (however, all are welcome).

Register now and join us at the Tabernacl for an informative morning and free coffee!

See you at the Tabernacl, 10:00-11:00 on Saturday 1 October
